Sarah TurnerSarah Turner is an international dressage rider and trainer currently based in the North West of England.

Sarah has ridden since the age of 3 and was brought up through the Pony Club, a broad education which culminated in her gaining the coveted Pony Club A Test, putting her in a select number of riders internationally to obtain the award each year.

She is a British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor and although she specialises in dressage, also teaches jumping regularly and works closely with the Wheelton Branch of the Pony Club.

Since beginning her equestrian career, particularly within the dressage world, she has worked with some of Great Britain's top names. She was a working pupil for Olympian Laura Fry, and held the position of stable jockey to international rider and trainer Gareth Hughes.

She returned to Lancashire in 2006 to develop her own career as a rider and trainer and now trains with Emile Faurie.

Sarah won a National Title at the 2006 Winter Championships on her own horse Fiddlesticks.
This horse, now 11 years old, was purchased by Sarah as a ‘just-backed’ 3 year old from local breeder Susan Stewart and Sarah has trained him herself up through the levels.

Sarah & Fiddlesticks are now competing successfully at International Small Tour and have had several major placings throughout the country at Premier League shows in 2009.

Sarah has also qualified for the National Championships with Fiddlesticks at every level from the Young Horse classes up to and including Intermediare I and has represented England at the Home International in 2008 with Fiddlesticks and Déjà vu III.
